Why is Updating Aadhaar Important?
If there are any changes required in your Aadhaar database, updating it now will help you avoid problems in the future. For children, it’s important to remember that if you had your child’s Aadhaar issued when they were below 5 years of age, you must update their biometric records at least twice – once after they turn 5 years old and again when they turn 15 years old.
